His whole personality is literally him being there for his brother. I did have a better emotional connection with Knox, but that’s it. She gets more and more annoying as the book progresses. When a character goes through something like that, you expect to feel more of an emotional connection.
I hated how the author incorporated this topic into the book. If you’re going to pick a sensitive topic like rape, maybe try to handle it right? *This book deals with rape so please keep that in mind before reading it* This might actually be a long review but I’m not dedicating a separate post to talking about this. I got through about 84% of this book before throwing in the towel. Can you rate a book you didn’t finish? ✨ This was a solid DNF ✨. Obviously because I have FOMO, I picked it up. So, I only started this book because two of my friends were reading it and kept telling me how emotional the ending was. Okay, so back to the updates – yes I only read one book which sucks cause I usually manage to read at least three a week or sometimes even seven. If you live in India, you should definitely check them out. Also, I pre-ordered Chain of Iron (the second book in the last hours trilogy by Cassandra Clare) from an online store that was not Amazon. I did, however, read one book this week so I guess that counts? More on that later.
I wish I could say I was productive this week but let’s be real – I definitely wasn’t.
